The Insititute of Modern Optics, Nankai University is an institution engaged
in comprehensive researches and high-level talent training in optics and
optical engineering in China. It is entitled as "an Open Lab in Optoelectronic
Technology of the Ministry of Education".
The institute has Academician Mu Guoguang, President from the Optical
Society of China, as its director. It also has 9 supervisors for doctoral
candidates, 15 professors and researchers and over 10 associate professors
and doctors.
It is engaged in researches on optoelectronic information technology and
modern applied optics.
