The Great Wall at Huangya Pass, 25 kilometres north of the seat of
Jixian County, is built in Ming Dynasty. The wall and its watchtowers
are on mountain ridges about 730 metres above sea level. At this commanding
height, one can truly appreciate the saying : "If one man guards
the pass, ten thousand are unable to get through." This is the
mighty nature and attraction of the Great Wall at Huangya Pass.
