The mayor and head of the delegation Li Shenglin, followed by Chairman of Tianjin Federation of Industry & Commerce Zhu Wenju and other leaders of Municipal CPPCC, Municipal Planning Commission and Science&Technology Commission, took off the plane and came to the Airline Lounges, where he shook hands and contacted with the Vice-Mayor and Vice Director of the delegation Wang Shuzu and other greeting people for the preparation of "2001 Tianjin Week in Hong Kong".

Mayor Li Shenglin said this activity was a continuation of last year's "Hong Kong Week in Tianjin". He expressed his appreciation to the supports of Hong Kong's various circles. He said he believed the activity must be successful.

Mayor Li Shenglin then arrived in Grand Hyatt Hotel and then is going to meet the Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Dr. Robin Chan Yau-hing there, and after it he will meet the Chief Executive of HKSAR Mr.Tung Chee Hwa. All members of Tianjin delegation have arrived in Hong Kong after Tianjin Government Delegation's arrival. In the evening, Mayor Li will have a discussion with Hong Kong Members of Tianjin CPPCC. After the meeting, he will inspect the opening ceremony place in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. As a result, all members of Tianjin delegation have arrived in Hong Kong after Tianjin Government Delegation's arrival.
