 On
March 28, the Economy and Trade Exhibition and Negotiation Conference,
one of the serial activities of "2001 Tianjin Week in Hong Kong",
was held in the Exhibition Hall on the third floor of Hong Kong Convention
& Exhibition Centre. This activity will last till March 31.
The Economy and Trade Exhibition and Negotiation Conference mainly
includes two parts: one for photo exhibition. In name of "Tianjin
in Camera", 80 photos are devided into 4 parts aim at introducing
the great achievements Tianjin has gained since reforming and opening-up,
especially during the period of the "9th Five-Year Plan", the developing
prospect of the "10th Fice-Year Plan" and the further expanding
of opening-up, etc.; the other one is for commodity and project
exhibition. 186 kinds of commodities are planned to be shown and
220 investment projects are to be introduced. The commodity and
project exhibition zone is devided into high technologies and machinery
and electronic products zone, textile, clothes and chemicals zone,
ecological agriculture zone and investment projects zone, etc.
