March 29, eNorth from Hong Kong：After the opening of "Tianjin Week", Mayor Li Shenglin continuously met several entrepreneurs to introduce them Tianjin investment environment and consult the possible cooperation. Yesterday, he early or later met Hong Kong New World Development Company Limited Managing Director Dr. Cheng Kar-Shun, Henry, Chairman of Kerry Group Mr KUOK Khoon Loong, President of Long Tai Coporation Mr Zhang Guoxing, President of Caterpillar China Limited Mr Keller and other famous entrepreneurs. During the meeting, Mayor Li firstly appreciated the guests' support and help to "Tianjin Week in Hong Kong". Then he said Tianjin development will enter a new era in 21st century. At present, Tianjin is grasping opportunities to realize the Striding-cross development. To get this achievement, it is important to enlarge the level of Door-opening to import foreign capital, advanced technology and management. Tianjin will like to share and cooperate with foreign friends to promote co-development.

When talking with Hong Kong Friends, Mayor Li said Tianjin and Hong Kong have many familiar advantages, like port, technology and intelligence; and they also have the same developing history. In recent years, profound cooperative relation has been established between industrial and commercial enterprises in these two cities. Mayor Li at last hoped to enlarge the cooperative area to promote prosperity and growth in Tianjin and Hong Kong.

Entrepreneurs all expressed their congratulations to the success of "Tianjin Week in Hong Kong". They noted the excellent investment environment in Tianjin and had confidence in the future development. Entrepreneurs told Mayor Li that they will aggressively seek developing opportunities and add investment in Tianjin to get greater achievements for both sides.
